Retailers In Singapore

Hvper Sport Downtown East / HiRoller

Hours: Open from 12pm - 7pm (SGT) on weekdays, and from 12pm - 8pm (SGT) on weekends and public holidays
Description: At Hvper Sport, you can use the student discount and save about 30% - 35% on some skates. The selection here, however, is quite limited and there really isn't much to choose from. Most of the skates sold here are Seba and the other brands like NEXUS (Hvper Sport's proprietary brand) and Freestyle don't have many reviews. Despite this, they are the sole retailer of Takino skates in Singapore, but it is also not a brand that gets a lot of mentions in the inline skating community either as Takino specialises in speed skates. Hvper Sport also doesn't carry aggressive skates or figure-inline skates.

Ernsports @ ECP

Hours: Open from 12pm - 8pm (SGT) on weekdays, and from 11am - 8pm (SGT) on weekends
Description: Similar to Hvper Sports, you can use the student discount here and save about 30% - 35% on some skates. Ernsports also has a very limited selection of skates and only sells Seba and Freestyle skates, which is an even more limited selection than Hvper Sports. They only sell urban and recreational skates here and do not stock other kinds of skates, like aggressive skates, speed skates or roller skates. Needless to say, they don't stock figure-inline skates either. Interestingly, they have a Lazada online shop in addition to their online shop.

Ernsports @ Punggol Promenade Riverside Walk

Inlinex

Hours: Open from 12pm - 8pm (SGT) on weekdays, and from 11am - 7pm (SGT) on weekends. Closed on public holidays.
Phone: +65 8123 3425 (sales support) & +65 9464 2702 (after sales and technical support)
Description: Inlinex probably has the largest selection of skates out of any inline skate shop in Singapore. They stock all kinds of skates, except for figure-inline skates. It seems like Inlinex is the only place in Singapore to get aggressive skates as well. Furthermore, you can use the student discount here, which is 15% off all non-discounted items. It isn't as high as the other shops that offer a student discount, but it applies to most, if not all of their skates, rather than having to stick to a catalogue. You should definitely buy your skates from here due to the incredible selection. Do note that they only accept NETS, cash and PayNow.

OneUpSkates

Hours: Open from 12pm - 8pm (SGT) on weekdays, and from 10am - 8pm (SGT) on weekends
Description: OneUpSkates has a decent selection of skates to choose from but it is still nowhere near Inlinex's selection. They stock brands like Flying Eagle, K2, Micro, Powerslide and Rollerblade, which are all pretty reputable brands. They also stock roller skates as well. However, they don't stock any aggressive skates or figure-inline skates and quite a huge portion of their currently available skates are recreational skates from K2 and Rollerblade. You also cannot use the student discount here and their location in Ang Mo Kio is also not as accessible as Inlinex for most people. It is a good place to get skates if you live around the area, but for people who live elsewhere, you should go to Inlinex for its vastly superior selection and more accessible location.

Freeskate Inline

Hours: Open from 12pm - 8:30pm (SGT) daily, closed on Mondays
Description: Similar to OneUpSkates, Freeskate Inline is also located in Ang Mo Kio which may not be the most accessible location for most people. The selection of skates here is probably the smallest among all of the stores, with them pretty much only stocking recreational skates from Rollerblade and K2. You also cannot use the student discount here. I'll recommend going to OneUpSkates to buy skates instead of here, but it's a good place to get your skates repaired, have lessons or rent a skate.

Flying Eagle Skate Singapore

Hours: Open from 11am - 6pm (SGT) daily, closed on Sundays and Wednesdays. On Saturdays however, it is open from 11am - 3pm (SGT).
Description: You will need an appointment to even enter the shop. To book an appointment, you'll want to message them on either Facebook or Instagram. However, you can browse their shop on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell and buy your skates directly from there if you know what you want and you are sure that the skates will fit. Expectedly, you can only get Flying Eagle skates from here, so the variety of skates is quite limited. Also, you cannot use the student discount here. They only sell recreational and urban skates and do not carry aggressive skates and figure-inline skates. They also sell accessories like bags and protective gear at a lower price than even Decathlon so it's worth checking out their online store if you are looking for accessories. Once again, you should go to Inlinex to buy your skates since its selection is much more diverse than the other stores.

SkateXtreme

Hours: Open on weekends from 10:30am - 12:00pm (SGT), and from 2:00pm - 6:30pm (SGT). Closed on weekdays.
Description: SkateXtreme is a store that mostly focuses on teaching inline skating, so you can contact them for skating lessons if you want to. They mostly stock Micro products as they are an official Micro distributor, which means they only have fitness and urban skates. As expected for a store that focuses on teaching inline skating, a lot of their skates are catered to kids, with only a few options for adult skaters. They also do offer in-store shopping, but you'll have to book an appointment with them via email or phone. Overall, if you want an urban Micro skate, then you could consider buying from here. Otherwise, you should be going elsewhere to get your skates.

Online Retailers

Pancit Sports

Description: Pancit Sports is a Singaporean niche sports store and they sell all kinds of sports equipment, for sports like disc golf, ultimate frisbee, golf, boxing, and of course, skating. They are an official Micro distributor, and hence mostly stock Micro skates. This means that they only stock fitness and urban skates, as well as kids skates. They also stock Rollerblade and Cougar skates, but the ones they stock are for kids. They do have a Shopee and a Lazada online store if you would like to use those platforms to buy skates. They also have a 10% discount for people who are learning inline skating. In general, unless you absolutely must have a Micro skate or have that 10% discount, it's much better to visit a physical skate shop in Singapore instead of buying from here.

Inline Warehouse

Hours: Open from 10am - 5:30pm (PST) from Monday to Saturday for self pick up, closed on Sundays. Their phone line is operational from 8:00am - 6:00pm (EST) on weekdays.
Description: Inline Warehouse is just that, a warehouse that stocks inline skates. They also have other warehouses for ice skating and for roller skates, so they stock fitness, urban, speed, aggressive, roller skates and ice skates. They also sell Endless frames that can be used for wizard skating, but they don't sell a whole wizard skate.

Japy Skates

Description: Japy Skates is a Chinese Aliexpress store. While them being an Aliexpress store doesn't inspire confidence in the authenticity of their products, their products are legitimate and the prices line up with other skate shops, so there is no need to worry. They sell fitness, urban, speed and aggressive (called extreme on their store) skates. They also sell roller skates and ice skates, but the selection is pretty limited.

Gogoskate

Hours: Open from 9am - 7pm (CST) from Monday to Saturday
Description: Gogoskate is an online shop in the US that sells fitness, urban, speed and roller skates. They mostly stock Flying Eagle skates, with a few Freestyle skates, so the selection isn't great. If you're in Singapore, you should just buy from the Flying Eagle official store instead. You can also find Freestyle skates at most of the Singaporean skate shops. For some reason, their roller skates are unbranded as well, with no brand in the product name, but there are some that have their brand mentioned in the product description. The shop just seems a little sketchy. They did, however, send a Flying Eagle F4 Raven to a skater on YouTube, so maybe they aren't as sketchy as they seem, but that's up to you to decide.

Overseas Retailers

Wheel Love Skate Shop

Hours: Open from 11am - 7pm (MYT) from Tuesday to Sunday, closed on Mondays

Intuition Skate Shop (Santa Monica)

Hours: Open from 12pm - 5pm (PST) on weekdays, and from 10am - 6pm (PST) on Saturdays. Closed on Sundays.
Description: Intuition Skate is a US inline skate shop that was established in 2000 in Bakersfield, California and they seem to focus a lot on aggressive skates. Roller Warehouse

Hours: Open from 9am - 5pm (PST) on weekdays, closed on weekends and public holidays
Description: Roller Warehouse is a US skate shop that was started in 1994 and specialises in aggressive skates. Their site is a blast from the past and doesn't look great on mobile, so you should access the site on a desktop. They stock fitness, aggressive, and roller skates, but you won't find any urban or speed skates there. Like most other stores, they also don't stock figure-inline skates.

SG Sports

Hours: Open from 9am - 4:30pm (PST) from Tuesday to Friday
Description: Contrary to what you would infer from the name, SG Sports is not a Singaporean skate shop. Instead, it is the exclusive distributor of Seba Skates, FR Skates and Luminous Wheels in the US. Being a distributor, they supply skate shops in the US with these brands, but you can also walk in to buy skates. They only stock Seba and FR skates, so you will only find urban and speed skates, as well as a single model of aggressive skates here, the UFR Street Anthony Pottier (AP) skates.

Loco Skates

Hours: Open from 11am - 4pm (GMT) from Tuesday to Friday, and from 10am - 3pm (GMT) on Saturdays
Description: Loco Skates is a skate shop in the UK run by a group of skaters that sells fitness, urban, speed, aggressive and roller skates. They also sell wizard frames with the wheels included, but not a whole wizard skate. They also have a YouTube channel of the same name that does reviews, tutorials, guides and just regular inline skating content.

Grindhouse

Hours: Open from 2pm - 6pm on weekdays, closed on weekends
Description: As the name suggests, Grindhouse is a skate shop in Germany that focuses on aggressive skates. However, they do stock fitness, urban, and speed skates in addition to aggressive skates. They also stock ice skates, as well as wizard frames, but they don't sell a whole wizard skate. They are also the only retailer that sells electric skates, or E-skates, that are made by Escend, which is really interesting.

This Is Soul

Hours: Open from 12pm - 6pm (CEST) daily, closed on public holidays
Description: This Is Soul is a skate shop in the Netherlands that sells fitness, urban and aggressive skates. They also sell ice skates and apparently even aggressive ice skates, which is just the Roces M12 aggressive skate fitted with a black ice blade. Lino Skate Shop
